If the student is part of a program provided to Schools, this information may also be shared with the respective School as outlined in the applicable agreement with the educational institution.

4. As Required by Law or to Protect Tutorspoint or Others

Tutorspoint may disclose personally identifiable information to law enforcement, and governmental agencies, or in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes. This may be done to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights, defend against legal claims, or as required or allowed by law.
We may also disclose information to protect the rights, property, or safety of our Users or others, and to investigate or prevent illegal or harmful activities.

5. In Connection with Business Transactions

In the event of a business acquisition, sale, merger, or reorganization, Tutorspoint may transfer or disclose personally identifiable information as part of the transaction. We may also share aggregated, anonymous data with potential investors, partners, or acquirers.

We store the information we collect as described in this Privacy Notice for as long as you are a User of the Site or as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the information was collected. Professionals' Profiles/Bios

If you are contracted as a Professional through the Site, the profile you create may be publicly accessible unless otherwise indicated. You can change the privacy settings of your profile and make it non-public through your account portal or as specified in the terms of your independent contractor agreement.


Children's Privacy

Tutorspoint products are designed to operate without third-party access to children's personal information. The Site does not collect or retain any personal information from children, except as needed to facilitate tutoring for that student, who may be a minor. Tutorspoint is committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in connection with the VTS offerings—more details can be found in the Terms for Education Offerings.
